Bargins add interest in the garden

Here are some additional things around our garden. Actually these are the new items I purchased right before the Garden Tour.

I really love Hobby Lobby. They usually have something every week that is on sale 40 to 50% off. But the week before the tour they had some home decor items 66% off and all the garden related items 50% off. Needless to say I made several trips.

The shelves are to the left of the front door. I try and change it up according to the season.

Sorry, turn your head sideways. Andrea turn your computer on it's side! The metal work was the most expensive at $18 and the shelf below was $11. This is under the deck to the right of the windows. My original ideal was to have a mirror put in the bottom part to reflect light under the deck. When I checked on the price of a mirror it was going to be $36 plus cutting cost. Needless to say I changed my mind. Will keep my eye out at garage sales.

The next couple of pictures of small more or less flat things that I put between the rocks on the patio. I think it adds some interest. It is so hard to get any plants to grow due to the ground under the rocks is hard clay.

Certainly a nice touch to your garden is the creative vingettes you have selectively placed around your home and yard. Its a wonderful way to bring the indoors out. Definitely a trend today. Also, very much like the hidden tresures amongst the stone walk ways. It would really encourage me to meander your garden and explore.

Happy gardening,

Oh good, another great idea to steal! I'm going to look around for "flat things" to place between my flagstones. I like all your creative touches.

Just my style! Love those decorations. Now why would you know that I'd tell ya' to turn your pics before you post them. It is not difficult. :-) Send them to me and I do it for you. :-) I just to love Hobby Lobby in the States and I LOVE sales of any kind. The idea to put these decorative items between the stones is superb. I couldn't step on an angel, though. BTW it cooled down over here ... could you send me some of the MO heat? I will take some KS, too. :-)Take it easy, Andrea

Bob, That does seem all the rage today to bring the indoors out. I do what I can. I didn't like the way the table turned out with the place settings. My gay gene must have been tired that day!!!
Thanks for all you nice comments!

Lostroses, Steal whatever you like I'm easy pickins. For my ideals that is!!!!

Andrea, Wish I could send you some MO heat but is been cool and raining day after day after day here. Don't know where the heat went to. I'm sure it will be back soon and they I will be complaining about it.
I love sales also. It is amazing how much you can spend even when it is 50% off!!!!

I love the small partially hidden objects! It brings out the archaeologist in me!
Glad I'm not the only one who sticks "trash" in my garden!
